Mushroomy Goodness
Mushrooms really work for me.
I find they make everything so much more real, 3D ,and alive, somehow. The trees, the grass, the sky…Everything moves and has a life of its own. Its great. Like we're all part of a bigger picture. And everything is more connected and colourful. And the best thing about them is that when you have taken them once, they change you ever so slightly. Your permanent perspective of the world is slightly changed. Slightly different. So, effectively, you dont really need to take them again. You have already seen what the world is really like. It's almost as if the filters have been taken away and you see what's really going on underneath it all.
Of course if we all saw the world like that all the time, with all that added detail, and all the colour…to it's full intensity…Well, we'd probably go mad. Too much stimuli all at once. So for every day regular functioning, I recommend the filters. (i.e. non-mushroom functioning)
Anyways, from my own experience, I'd say taking them once or twice is fine…But taking them any more than that really isnt necessary. The third or fourth time I tried them weird things started happening.
Last time I had mushrooms the towel in the bathroom started breathing. Which at first I didnt mind…But after a while I just couldn't go in there to pee out of sheer terror of the other living, breathing, thing in the bathroom.
I can deal with living things being more real and alive with mushrooms. But I like my un-living things un-alive. Like they should be.
Un-moving and life-less. And they definately should NOT be talking.
Someone I know claims that she started telepathizing with some rabbits she saw in a park. My partner says he saw salmons swimming in the ceiling. Bill Hicks said he thought he'd turned into a fish. (or was that LSD he was on?)
